Hi,

I'm Justin Wyne (pronounced "wine"), a senior engineering manager currently at Atlassian, based in Pittsburgh, PA after most of my career in San Francisco. I've built and led engineering teams at Twitter, Reflektive, and Atlassian, with enough hands-on technical experience to stay close to the work.

I tend to learn by doing. At home that means a Proxmox lab running containers for everything from a self-hosted observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) to AI infrastructure for analyzing security camera feeds with vision models to home automation with Home Assistant.

Outside of work I enjoy hiking, camping, and exploring new cities — usually with a camera. Some of those travel photos are on this site.
