Photography

Photography is a relatively new hobby of mine. I bought a Canon 30D before departing for my semester abroad in New Zealand. Since that spring of 2008, I have been experimenting with and learning much more about photo-taking and photo manipulation every year.

Below is a recent favorite photo of mine. It was taken at Falls Lake, North Carolina on a spontaneous Sunday morning trip. For more, check out My Flickr Photostream.

Endorsements

Here's a list of my favorite sevices that are available on the internet. I spend a good bit of time figuring out the best way to manage my digital life. The tools listed below are the cream of the crop and I highly recommend giving them a try.

Dropbox

I use dropbox for ALL of my documents. It's fast too. When backing up files, it only sends the delta data. This means it doesn't require sending the entire file everytime you save it; only what changed.

As a bonus, there is also an iPhone app that lets you view anything in your Dropbox on the go. This comes in extremely handy.

Click the link below to get an extra 256mb of space (and give me a storage increase too!).

Evernote

I've been using Evernote more and more lately. Using this service along with the iPhone app, it is very much like an extension to your memory. It does a pretty good job of finding text within images and making that searchable. I recommend getting the Firefox plugin as well.
